McKendree Village was founded in 1963. It is named for Bishop William McKendree, the first American born Bishop of the Methodist Church, who served Tennessee. The name was officially changed to McKendree Village, Inc., on February 9, 1984, when we became a separate legal entity.

For over 45 years, McKendree Village has had a reputation for quality services and care. We have made it our priority to grow with the Nashville community and evolve our services with trends in retirement living and senior care.
